Chapter 18 Manor
Chapter 18 Manor
Mel finally realized what a stupid thing he had done.
What a great honor it is that the princess who was raised by His Majesty, or the entire kingdom, personally came to find me.
Not only was he not grateful to the other party, he also added insult to injury after the other party was injured because of him.
Cecilia was right to scold him yesterday.
"I, I..." Mel kept saying "I" for a long time but nothing came of it.
Valken didn't want to say anything more to Meldor. "Your Highness may have been a bit bad before, but now he is very sincere and kind. I hope you can calm down and get to know him again."
After saying that, Valken returned to his room.
Mel was left standing in the aisle in a daze.
Meier remembered his father's advice to him before he left.
"The princess has never left Petra since she was a child. Your Majesty attaches great importance to this long journey. If Your Majesty could not leave the palace, it would not be your turn to accompany her on the trip."
"Father also knows that you don't like Her Highness, and I won't force you to please Her Highness. There is only one thing, make sure Her Highness is intact when she returns to the palace."
Meir felt that when he returned to Petra, he would be scolded to death by his father.
He didn't know how long he had been standing at the door of Cecilia's room. When he came to his senses and returned to his room, he found that it was almost eleven o'clock.
Mel didn't sleep well that night.
In the dream, one moment he heard his father accusing him, and the next moment he heard the king ordering him to be imprisoned.
When Mel was awakened, the clock on the wall showed three o'clock in the morning.
He sat on the bed, gasping for breath, as if he had escaped death.
Cecilia and others slept well tonight, without any dreams until dawn.
Thanks to the original owner's biological clock, Cecilia woke up at 6:30 in the morning.
Celine woke up earlier than her and waited obediently in the living room of the suite. When she heard some noise in the princess's room, she immediately knocked on the door to ask.
With Celine's help, Cecilia changed her clothes and went to the restaurant for dinner.
When I left the room, I ran into Mel who had been standing at the door for who knows how long.
Cecilia now saw that Mel was a little complicated. After a brief pause, Cecilia was the first to speak, "Have you eaten?"
Mel came to apologize, but when he saw Cecilia, he couldn't open his mouth.
After hearing the question Cecilia asked him, Mel finally understood what Valken meant by "change".
Mel, who had difficulty opening his mouth before, spoke fluently this time, "I apologize for my rash remarks yesterday. I know that apologies..."
Cecilia interrupted Mel's speech, "I accept your apology. Do you want to have breakfast together now?"
Meier finally let go of the worry that had been hanging over his head all night, but he felt even more frightened.
Seeing Cecilia walking downstairs, Mel quickly followed.
When Cecilia arrived at the restaurant, the knights were already having their meal.
When they saw the princess coming in, they all stood up and saluted Cecilia.
Valken saw that Mel came in with Cecilia, and after observing their expressions, he felt sincerely happy for Her Royal Highness the Princess.
It seems that the princess has come out of yesterday's sadness.
The breakfast on the boat was quite simple, and Cecilia was not picky. Mel sat next to her and observed her preferences.
Cecilia pretended not to notice.
Halfway through the meal, the captain sent someone to inform them that the "Pearl" was about to dock and reminded them to pack up as soon as possible.
Upon hearing the news, Celine took a couple of bites and hurried back to her room to pack up the princess's things.
Cecilia discovered that Celine was sometimes really like a rabbit, easily startled.
Even if the "Pearl" really docked, and Celine hadn't packed all her belongings, could the captain and the first mate really throw their things overboard?
Mel found that Cecilia didn't seem to like eating nuts very much, so he asked someone to send some fresh fruit.
Cecilia accepted Mel's advances, "Mel, there's no need for this between us. I don't mind your unintentional words yesterday. As long as you don't hold us back in the future, that's fine."
Mel immediately said proudly, "Don't think too much, I just want to eat it myself."
Cecilia didn't expose the truth. She put down her cutlery and followed Valken away.
After getting off the boat, Cecilia and Mel separated, and Mel went to meet the local earl to learn about the local situation.
Cecilia was not with Mel, but when she separated from Mel, she placed a tracking charm on Mel.
Mel felt the magical fluctuations on his body and checked himself along the magical traces. It was a tracking.
Cecilia explained, "My father gave it to you before he left to prevent you from being kidnapped again."
Mel smiled faintly, then reacted and immediately put on a stern face and said proudly, "Didn't I say I wouldn't be kidnapped again?"
Cecilia didn't argue with him too much, "If you don't like it, I think it won't be too much trouble for you to cancel it."
Cecilia still found Mel's tsundere very interesting at times - when he was just being stubborn.
Valken followed Cecilia away, chartered a few cars locally, and drove Cecilia to Leonard's manor.
Even after the car drove a long way away, Cecilia could still feel the tracking symbol on Mel.
I couldn't help but laugh, this Mel.
Celine saw Cecilia suddenly smile, "Your Highness, have you thought of something happy?"
Cecilia didn't tear Mel down. "I just didn't expect the scenery outside to be so beautiful."
Leonard's manor is located on the outskirts of Clifton Harbor. After driving out of the city, you can see a huge manor in the distance.
Cecilia looked at the manor, which was almost as big as a royal palace.
This Leonard's intention is really obvious to everyone.
The guards of the manor were still standing guard professionally, and when they saw an unfamiliar vehicle, they immediately stopped it.
Valken got out of the car to negotiate and showed the badge symbolizing the commander of the Royal Guards.
But the guard didn't know what he was talking about. "If you said you were the head of the Royal Guards, I would believe you! Then I would also say that I was the orphan of the current emperor."
Valken turned around to look at Cecilia who had stuck her head out to observe what was going on. The knight behind him waved his hand and arrested the guard.
The guard was arrested, still shouting, "You are breaking the law! When the Duke comes back, you will lose your heads! Let me go!"
Valken took the key from the guard and handed it to the knight beside him. The knight took the key and immediately opened the iron gate of the manor.
The two knights took the guards aside. When Cecilia, who was in the carriage, saw this, she probably knew what was going on.
Celine also poked her head out to look at the situation outside.
Cecilia said to the driver, "Just drive in."
