Mo Ze led the still somewhat shy Shen Nian to the door. Shen Nian tried to pull her hand away, but Mo Ze held on tightly.
She turned to look at him, and he gave her a reassuring look.
"Big brother, sister-in-law, Coco, Happy New Year's Eve." Mo Ze greeted them and handed the things he was carrying to his father.
"You're already here, why are you buying things?" Mrs. Mo muttered.
“They’re all snacks, they’re really cute,” Moze replied.
"Just spoil her." Mo's mother said with a smile, then her eyes kept shifting between Shen Nian and Mo Ze, finally landing on their clasped hands. She seemed to want to ask something but was too embarrassed to ask.
In the end, it was Mo Keke who spoke up for her mother.
"Uncle, why did you come with Teacher Shen? Are you two dating?" Mo Keke asked directly, her bright eyes sparkling.
Mo Ze smiled gently at everyone and replied, "We're married. This is your aunt."
As soon as he finished speaking, four people, eight eyes, turned to look at him.
They all stared wide-eyed.
Mo Keke's eyes widened and her mouth gaped open. Everyone froze in place.
