Chapter 243 Yixin is Pregnant

As the sun set, the evening glow on the horizon resembled an overturned palette of paint, smearing the sky with abandon. Fu Yu hummed a tuneless little tune as he placed a steaming plate of sweet and sour pork ribs on the table.

"Yixin, come and try my cooking today, it's definitely improved!" Fu Yu shouted at the top of his lungs.

Fu Yu's father, standing nearby, smiled and said, "Good job, lad! You must take good care of Yi Xin."

After hanging up the phone, Fu Yu immediately called Liu Yixin's parents.

"Hello, Dad, this is Fu Yu." Fu Yu's voice was filled with undisguised joy.

Liu Xuan sensed something was off on the other end of the phone. "What's up, Fu Yu? You sound like you have something good to say?"

"Dad, Yixin is pregnant! You and Mom are going to be grandparents!" Fu Yu said excitedly.

Liu Xuan was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter, "Goodness, this is really good news! I have to tell Mom right away."

Liu Xuan hung up the phone and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Honey, come quick! We're going to be grandparents!"

After returning home, Fu Yu started to get busy, cleaning every corner of the house and replacing Liu Yixin's snacks with nutritious nuts and fruits.

"Yixin, from today onwards, you can focus on your pregnancy and leave everything at home to me," Fu Yu said seriously.

Looking at Fu Yu's serious expression, Liu Yixin couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, then thank you for your hard work, Chef Fu, Nanny Fu, Butler Fu."
