The spoiled brat became increasingly displeased. It was one thing to insult him—after all, it was a fact that he couldn't refute—but to belittle him while praising He Fei was something that made him lose face.

Moreover, if He Fei hadn't suddenly appeared and ruined his plans, he might have already succeeded. As he spoke, he glanced at the woman.

"How come you're so funny? What do you mean by 'troubling me'? You're just being a good person to the end, so why not go all the way?" He Fei joked.

When the woman saw He Fei's words, the tears that were about to spill from her eyes stopped, and she smiled through her tears. That woman probably never imagined there could be such a kind person in the world.
