Chapter 63 Future Successful Mass Production Will Be Your Death: Post-3000s Generation: The Autobots
The screwdriver gently tightened the screw, and the two parts were tightened together, fitting perfectly.
Rosa picked up the rifle and examined it closely; she had been doing this all day.
But she wasn't sure if the weapon could be fired. She needed to call an ambulance to request the opening of the land bridge so she could find a place to test it.
-
"Go try the training ground; there shouldn't be anyone there right now." The ambulance driver, upon hearing Rosa's suggestion to test the weapon, thought the training ground was a large enough space.
"Are you sure?" Rosa held up the "3000 That Will Kill You" sign, looking at the ambulance. "What if it explodes in a bit..."
"Don't worry." The ambulance interrupted Rosa, waving at her. "Our entire base is equipped with fire sprinklers."
The ambulance driver assumed this thing was a short-range burst weapon, like a high-powered shotgun, but he was proven wrong when the training ground exploded.
Remember that time the ambulance was overdosed on drugs? He smashed a huge hole in the training ground wall by holding up a partition. This time it's the same wall.
"Buzz—whoosh—boom—" The instant the trigger was pulled, a burst of intense green light erupted from the muzzle. The powerful green shockwave made the overhead lights in the training ground sway. Along with the shockwave came green halos, each ring of the same color hinting at the magnitude of the impact at its center.
It was so large that it even created a wave circle.
Rosa's mech, being lighter, was also forced back several meters by the powerful recoil. Looking at the training ground wall, now riddled with another large hole—this time even the wall of the opposite corridor had a huge hole in it…
"Clang..." The sound of dust and stones falling continuously filled the air. The ambulance watched as dust continued to fall from the wall. A section of the training ground was clearly affected, turning black and even dented in the ground.
He covered his face, unable to imagine how powerful this thing would be if it could be mass-produced and brought to the battlefield.
If you have enough of these, you won't even need to worry about charging them. With enough guns, they can practically become mobile artillery turrets...
The other Autobots heard the commotion and rushed over to check what was happening, only to find the training ground walls in disarray and the ground charred black.
If they hadn't known it was Rosa's weapon that caused this, they would have thought someone had stolen relics from the Iron Fortress Archives, or that someone was playing with grenades in the base.
"I'll try to see if I can make a few more of this thing. If it can be mass-produced in the future, then the Autobots can change their slogan."
As she spoke, she waved the rifle in her hand, which was still radiating heat and had turned from green to red, with a charging countdown still displayed on it.
"What?" Arcee didn't understand what Rosa had said.
"The Autobots are here! Get out of the way!"
"Pfft," Rosa said, and suddenly a burst of chuckles came from around her. Rosa was still saying that the slogan was arrogant enough, and it was especially in line with the state after the weapon was mass-produced.
Then they sent Rosa back to her room and started contacting Agent Fuller. When Agent Fuller arrived at the base and saw the mess, his lips twitched.
“Don’t tell me you’ve been playing with explosive weapons in the base…” Agent Fuller said, hands on his hips, looking at the group of Cybertronians.
The ambulance nervously glanced away... then endured Fuller's furious shouts like, "Do you know how hard it is to repair your walls?"
After all, this place is considered a military secret, so finding someone to repair it would definitely be quite troublesome.
Then that night, Agent Fuller called again, this time because two big guys were fighting 20 miles outside of Omaha.
Then I saw a live stream, and it turned out to be Jack and Hackwing fighting.
Fuller was on the verge of collapse. "Even if Laozi (the Supreme Lord Lao) were to return, you all still have to get this under control before it makes the evening news!!"
It was eventually brought under control... I guess, if the jack hadn't fired at the gas station and caused a huge explosion...
Agent Fuller looked exasperated.
By the way, Agent Fuller has given the enemy vehicle mode again. Next, Jack will return to base and have Ratchet treat his arm that was injured by Hackintosh.
Of course, Rosa only found out about all of this the next day. When Agent Fuller contacted the base, she was trying to continue making weapon cores, determined to make a few more to keep for future use at the base.
"Gently, doctor, my arm!" the jack shouted as the ambulance welded his wound.
"If you move it again, it really won't survive." He said, continuing to weld the jack to repair the wound caused by the gunshot wound from the hawk.
"Commander... I'm so sorry, I fired indiscriminately..."
"This is the last time." Jack was originally speaking to Optimus Prime, but Ratchet responded to him first on Optimus Prime's behalf.
Rosa was also watching the show, sipping her super energy.
"But I chased the Haunted Wing for a hundred light-years to get here."
"I thought you went on an interstellar journey to find fellow refugees," the partition replied.
Rosa took another sip of the energy in her hand as she listened. The rest of the story was about Jack watching his former companion Wave get blown to pieces by Hazard, and being taught by Optimus Prime to be careful on Earth.
"You! You're just setting off firecrackers randomly!" Agent Fuller shouted as he entered the base and stood on the platform.
"Your Hu Suofei almost got us exposed!"
"Exposure?" Jack asked, puzzled. The partition came over and explained, "We have to conceal our identities, Jack. You need to transform into Earth vehicle form to get out." The partition tapped Jack's shoulder armor as it spoke. Jack turned to look at him, but was then distracted by Agent Fuller's shouts.
"That spaceship you shot down wasn't from Earth! It took me a lot of effort to drag it away," Agent Fuller shouted to Optimus Prime again.
"You need to discipline your men properly, Optimus Prime!"
Despite Agent Fuller's angry shouts, Wheeljack denied being a member of Optimus Prime's crew.
Then Jack went out... and the partition went to talk to Jack.
Rosa took another sip of the energy in her hand, then left to continue 'Take Your Life 3000'.
Then later, I saw news that the partition and jack in the paint had an accident, and Optimus Prime went to help. With him there, the problem should be resolved safely.
Not long after, for some reason, she seemed to hear Agent Fuller cursing again in the weapons research room next to the hall.
It turns out the harbor, piled high with cargo, was bombed again. Although it was the Decepticons who did it, for some reason, Agent Fuller seems really busy...
Rosa emerged from the weapons research lab, peeked around the lobby entrance, and then slowly nestled back into the lab.
As for Wheeljack, his attitude towards Optimus Prime seems to have improved a lot, although he still doesn't want to stay _(:3」∠)_
Of course, the 'Death Slayer 3000' was too dangerous, and since it only took 30 minutes to charge and there was only one, Optimus Prime and Ratchet temporarily placed it in a corridor with the other relics.
