Transformers: Leader's Proof - Fragile, but Hard to Kill

Chapter 95 The Shining

Chapter 95 The Shining

While the sound waves were still resting, the extended body had already covered almost half of the fortress's floors; to get to the other half, one needed to use a special elevator.

Those floors are relatively more upscale, with dedicated elevators, which are different from the elevators Rosa touched on the ordinary floors.

The elevator doors on higher floors were thicker, and she was too lazy to damage them for the time being, but for half of the fortress, that was enough.

To be honest, sometimes it's not very interesting to set up traps and create them all by yourself. Why not wait until things are mostly cleared out before you get involved yourself?

Rosa thought to herself, "I'll cut off the communications on the last floor and also take the opportunity to cut off the antennas I found on the outer wall that are used for communications."

Then, almost all the Decepticons resting in the lounge or barracks were harvested by the scythes hanging from their heads and sent back to the AllSpark.

The other Decepticon minions patrolling or chatting in the corridor realized something was wrong, and when they opened the door, they discovered that the monster had escaped from the sealed-off floor.

The next wave of harvesting is about to begin, and many machines want to contact backup or report to their superiors, only to find that the entire communication system has failed.

Rosa also thoughtfully sealed off all entrances and exits to other floors, including elevators leading to higher floors.

As soon as the Decepticons pass by, they will see a bunch of scythes, tentacles, pliers, and so on, as well as cameras emitting purple light hanging at the entrances and exits.

Some unlucky Tigers, having just come down from a higher floor, found themselves surrounded by a dense mass of tentacles, sickles, and pincers as soon as they opened the elevator doors.

Tiger immediately crashed, and the moment the purple camera turned around after hearing the noise and saw the unfortunate Tiger, Tiger knew what was going on.

He's done.

Thanks to this unlucky Decepticon for his contribution in opening the elevator door and speeding up Rosa's journey to get her food.

But we'll have to wait a bit. Let the tentacles hold the button so it won't close, blocking the elevator. She needs to finish the food on these floors first.

-

"Hello! Hello! Can anyone hear me?!" There was no answer from the communicator... He sat by the wall, clutching his injured shoulder, trying to contact his superiors.

He was ambushed while he was dozing in the lounge. He suddenly felt something was wrong, and when he opened his optical glasses, he saw a huge scythe hanging from the ceiling, about to strike him.

He shifted his body slightly to avoid being cut off like his colleagues in the lounge.

But the sickle still injured his shoulder. The moment he was injured, he didn't even have time to react. He scrambled out of the lounge and immediately locked the door.

After trying to communicate while leaning against the wall without success, he seemed to hear some sound...

"Hehehehehe~" It was that monster. Her screen closed, displaying a large purple X.

Sharp teeth were exposed. She tilted her head and watched as the soldier immediately ran to an empty room next door and slammed the door shut.

The henchman locked the door in fear, then used his still-movable arm to conjure a gun, and sat trembling in the corner facing the door.

"Don't you want to open the door, darling?" A woman's voice echoed inside the room.

Her voice was soft, as if it were just a gentle and lovely young girl outside, but the Decepticon henchman knew that was absolutely impossible; it was a monster!

"You swear by your own fire that you will never open the door no matter what?" It was still that gentle female voice, but this time there was a hint of grievance in her voice.

"Well... okay~" This time, her voice was full of doting affection.

"Clang—clang—" Rosa extended an axe and chopped at the door repeatedly, causing the soldiers to scream in fright.

But ventilation ducts are actually extended bodies, so why not use that?

Because sometimes... it's more fun to get involved yourself! (:D)

"Bang—bang—" The door was violently pounded on by the axe again and again. Finally, a crack appeared in the door of the rest room. The screams of the henchmen never stopped, and they were so frightened that they couldn't even lift their guns.

"Bang—bang—" A large gap was finally chopped open in the door, and Rosa slowly poked her head next to the gap.

"Here's Rosa!" the soldier screamed even louder, then Rosa, annoyed by his noise, extended tentacles from the ventilation duct, grabbed his neck, and hoisted him up.

Rosa ate the bursting fire.

Rosa was very happy.

Rosa wanted to find new fun.

The Decepticons at the top are now in chaos, because they've discovered they can't contact the lower-level minions at all, and the machines they've sent down themselves aren't responding.

Occasionally, you can even faintly hear screams from below; something must have happened down there.

The first thought was to contact the Decepticon's second-in-command, Soundwave, but Soundwave was too exhausted and was completely offline; no amount of noise could wake him up.

-

On the Autobots' side, they couldn't find Smokescreen and Optimus Prime, but there was nothing they could do. They now had to go to Dark Peak to shut down the Fusion Cannon, which was threatening humanity's safety.

So they devised a plan to use the remaining resources on the crashed Vanguard, including the land bridge, and then a few humans would use communications to lure the Decepticons out.

Meanwhile, the ambulance successfully located the Decepticons' communication channel and prepared to spread false information, making them believe that the energy mine had been attacked.

When they reconnected Jack's voice, the liaison on the other end said something strange.

"Command center, please respond. We are under attack by the Autobots." After processing Jack's voice, Jack spoke into the communication channel according to the prepared lines.

"Listen, we're already overwhelmed here. A monster is about to devour all the Decepticons. You guys figure it out yourselves!!" With that, he hung up, leaving the Autobots and a few humans completely bewildered.

"Is that dragon eating their own people?" Meiqi immediately thought of the giant, ferocious dragon that was chasing them, but the ambulance instinctively thought of something else...

Something else... something even more terrifying.

“There’s another possibility…” Ambulance took a deep breath. He was somewhat hoping for that answer, because it would mean that the one interfering with the Decepticons was one of their own, which would be to their advantage.

But he didn't expect it to be her either; he didn't want to see Rosa become... become that terrifying appearance.

"Regardless, this is the best opportunity for us to attack the Decepticons." Ultra Magnus said, "Autobots! Load!"

Everyone grabbed their weapons. Ultra Magnus's spaceship still had some stockpiled high-tech weapons, such as lasers and shields, which he gave to everyone to use.

“Listen…” the ambulance driver took a deep breath. “Be careful…make sure you know what kind of monster it is before you shoot. It’s best to get Rosa out of here first.”

Everyone nodded, understanding what it meant. Ultra Magnus also learned from them that there was another Autobot in the Decepticons' hands.

She must be a very pretty young girl.
