Chapter 207 Action Plan is ready to begin

"Something's wrong." Su Ming's heart was filled with alarm. Based on his past experience, the more relaxed a place seemed, the greater the risk it concealed. He knew that this place couldn't be easily infiltrated. The surface calm was just a cover for a deeper secret.

Su Ming pondered for a moment. After confirming there were no obvious traps, he nimbly leaped from the abandoned rooftop, using the shadows of the wall to quickly approach the warehouse's back door. His movements were as light as a cat, making almost no sound. At the rear of the warehouse, he found a rusty iron door locked with a seemingly simple, old-fashioned iron lock.

He frowned slightly, quickly pulled a tiny steel needle from his pocket, and inserted it into the keyhole. A few seconds later, the lock clicked softly, and Su Ming opened it and pushed the door open. The light inside the warehouse was even dimmer than he had imagined. Metal boxes and wooden shelves were piled all around, and the air was filled with the smell of stale paint and rusted metal.

Su Ming walked forward, following the faint light, his heartbeat accelerating. He knew he was about to reach the core of the mission, but he also sensed that danger was approaching.

"I have to be careful." He reminded himself in his heart.

Suddenly, his eyes were drawn to an unassuming box in the corner. It stood out from the surrounding debris. Not only was it larger, but it also seemed to bear no markings. Most importantly, the box had complex electronic locks installed at its corners, clearly protecting something extremely important or dangerous.

Su Ming cautiously approached the box, crouching down to examine it carefully. His fingers lightly brushed the edge of the box, feeling the subtle fluctuations of electricity. He was very familiar with the feeling—this was a military-grade, high-voltage sensor lock. If touched rashly, it would likely trigger a lethal electric shock.

"There's something wrong indeed." Su Ming sneered inwardly. He had already guessed that this box was definitely not ordinary cargo, and it was likely to contain some unconventional weapons.

He quickly pulled a miniature tool kit from his waist, containing various cracking devices. While this electronic lock was complex, it wasn't impossible for him to crack. He took a deep breath, steadying his tools, and began slowly cutting the wires around the edge of the box. Each cut required extreme caution; a single misplaced connection could instantly reduce the entire warehouse to ruins.

As time ticked by, Su Ming's nerves grew increasingly tense. He could sense a faint pressure in the air, as if some invisible force were closing in on him. But he dared not lose focus, concentrating on every movement of his hands.

Finally, with a slight "click," the lock was released. Su Ming felt relieved, but he didn't let his guard down at all. Instead, he continued to observe the rest of the box, confirming there were no other hidden protective measures before slowly opening the lid.

The scene inside the box made Su Ming stunned for a moment - inside was a black weapon that he had never seen before.

The weapon was oddly shaped, matte black, with no markings or model numbers on its surface. It didn't resemble any traditional weapon, but rather some kind of high-tech device. Precision electronic components were embedded on both sides of the weapon, and in its center was a smooth metal plate that shone with a faint blue light.

"What... is this?" Su Ming muttered to himself, feeling perplexed. He had come into contact with all kinds of weapons and equipment, even some illegal weapons circulated on the black market, but this thing before him was completely beyond his comprehension.

He reached out and gently touched the surface of the weapon, finding it extremely cold, as if devoid of any signs of life. But he could sense that this was no ordinary cold weapon; it seemed to contain some powerful energy.

Suddenly, the air in the warehouse seemed to grow even more stagnant. Su Ming suddenly realized that he had been so engrossed in researching this weapon that he had forgotten to remain alert to his surroundings. He looked up suddenly, and his ears caught the faint sound of footsteps.

"Not good!" Su Ming reacted instantly, quickly closing the box and hiding behind the shelf. His heart began to beat wildly, and cold sweat streamed down his forehead. His previous negligence had almost put him in danger. If the enemy discovered his presence, the consequences would be disastrous.

The footsteps grew closer. Su Ming held his breath, his fingers gripping the dagger tightly, ready for a sudden fight. In the darkness, he heard someone whispering, their voices hoarse and rapid.

"The stuff has arrived, and the next action plan is about to begin."

"We need to ensure this weapon doesn't fall into the hands of anyone, especially spies who might try to seize it."

Su Ming's heart sank when he heard these words. It turned out that he wasn't the only one who knew about the existence of this weapon. The other party also clearly knew its importance and was even willing to protect it at all costs.

He waited quietly, his mind quickly formulating his next plan. He knew that this weapon must not remain in the hands of the enemy. If the enemy planned to use it to carry out some dangerous action, the consequences would be disastrous.

But the most important thing right now is how he can get out of this situation.

Su Ming's heartbeat quickened, as if he could clearly hear the throbbing of his own blood. The flashlight's beam cut through the darkness like a sharp blade, bearing down on him. He hid behind the shelves, pressing his body against the cold, hard metal, trying to blend in with the surrounding shadows. Dust particles in the air drifted slowly in the flashlight's light, as if time itself had slowed down.

"I have to stay calm. I have to stay calm," Su Ming repeatedly reminded himself. Years of training had accustomed him to remaining calm even in extremely tense situations, but right now, every nerve in his body was under immense pressure. The slightest misstep would have him discovered.

The flashlight gradually swept across the edge of the shelf where he was hiding, and then he heard low footsteps getting closer and closer.

"Who are these people? How much do they know?" Su Ming's mind raced, pondering a response strategy. He instinctively suspected they might be an enemy patrol, but he couldn't rule out other possibilities. Everyone here might have connections to the black market or underground organizations, and the weapons in the warehouse weren't ordinary merchandise. Perhaps these newcomers also coveted this mysterious weapon.

The light finally moved away, and Su Ming breathed a sigh of relief, but he still didn't dare to relax. He slowly adjusted his posture behind the shelf, secretly observing the movements outside through the gap between the shelves.

The footsteps stopped not far away. A tall figure stood in the middle of the warehouse, holding a flashlight, with an upright posture, appearing well-trained.
