Chapter 174 Collapse
Chapter 174 Collapse
The five-faced judge was so enraged that he had lost all dignity; his angry face screamed, his smiling face twisted, and his sorrowful face emitted a low, resonant sound.
It abruptly raised the judgment platform, while the remaining tentacles simultaneously drooped down from below, their ends splitting open and the muzzles lighting up. White-yellow beams swept across the center line in succession, forcing the array of Lawful Knights to retreat half a step.
The vector was pulled forward, but the curator blocked her way.
It was no longer disguised; its extended skeleton was even longer than before, with several red lines crawling along it like nerves that shouldn't be exposed. The gravitational vector felt it needed to recover its sanity.
"You can't overthrow us," the curator said.
The double-edged sword with its vectoring force slashed horizontally, and the curator retreated, while the skeleton thrust at him from the side.
She raised her arm to parry, her right arm armor sliding open as the pulse cannon fired in rapid succession along the crack in its chest. The curator was jolted back half a step by the barrage, and the skeleton circled around from the other side, attempting to lock her shoulders and back.
The energy blade from the left arm of the vector vector pops out and cuts down with a backhand.
The broken skeleton crashed to the ground and was still twitching.
The five-faced judge roared in fury, "You are nothing but abandoned failures!"
The vector suddenly looked up: "That doesn't sound like something a creator would say."
The smiling face turned to her, distorted grotesquely, the smile utterly repulsive: "You think you're superior to us?"
The vector did not respond immediately.
There's something wrong with that sentence.
It's not like a lofty Creator looking down upon creation, but rather like hatred that keeps scabbing over after an old wound has been burned.
They speak of "creation," "judgment," and "belonging," but every time they mention Cybertronians, there is a hint of resentment, jealousy, and a barely concealed bitterness.
The vector understood, but she didn't have time to ask further.
She needs to hold them back.
The curator pounced again.
The guiding vector re-formed a long-barreled sword-like cannon, the magnetic guiding ring lit up synchronously, and the scattered metal around it floated.
The curator paused for a moment, and then several tentacles of the five-faced judge attacked simultaneously.
The gravitational beam struck the node where the tentacles intertwined, and the shockwave blasted several tentacles away. Taking advantage of this moment, she rushed up to the area below the judgment table, her right foot landing on the sloping ground. The magnetic force pulled the surrounding debris, forcibly creating a temporary foothold for herself.
The curator caught up from the side: "You can only delay it."
He switched weapons using vectoring, and his left arm snapped back onto his shoulder. The double-edged sword returned to his hand, and before the pulse cannon in his right hand was fully closed, he fired a shot at it.
The curator turned his head away, leaving a scorch mark on half of the outer shell.
"That's enough."
Suddenly, the judge's bench tilted noticeably, and the curator's movements stopped.
Cracks spread outwards from the bottom of the judgment seat, and the structure that the oddballs had been maintaining was failing layer by layer. The mechanical parts that the Quintessons used to fix, restrain, and display their power of judgment were being dismantled from below.
Black Widow said, "Two minutes."
She sounded cheerful: "The bottom layer has been completely eaten away."
Flying Over Mountain shuddered and interrupted in the channel, "Seriously, after the war, can we at least give this terrifying spider woman a proper talking-to?"
The five-faced judge also noticed, and turned his angry face towards the curator.
The curator barked out, "Lock up the main beam! All bailiffs back to defend! Shark Demon, block the lower level!"
The crocodile demons turned around, the shark demons paused briefly, then surged towards the judgment platform and the lower entrance. The eccentric tried to regain control of the giant support pillars, and the prosecutor's red search line was withdrawn from the heights, instead wrapping around several main beams that had not yet broken.
Tongtianxiao immediately saw the change: "They want to keep the judgment seat."
Megatron unleashed his fusion cannon at the returning shark demons, and ordered in a deep voice, "Kill them!"
Alita, leading her elite guard, was like an invincible spear, with Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Hot Rod following behind her. Their firepower was specifically aimed at the gaps that appeared when the enemy turned around.
Red Spider sneered from above: "So you only thought you could guard this place now?"
Missiles fell from the edge of the breach, shattering the high-rise support structure that was attempting to close again. Skyfire and airstrikes stabilized the other side, forcing prosecutors to divert search lines to defend against the air.
The acoustic wave and BICk0 simultaneously hacked into the residual control terminal.
Crystal Prism stabilized the relay, preventing the five-faced monster from contaminating the team's channel.
AZ, at some point, had changed into a crocodile-like vehicle, blending into the enemy ranks, and pointed in the completely opposite direction:
"That area has collapsed, hurry over there."
Several crocodile demons rushed out a couple of steps, only to find that there was only the rumbling of iron hammer arms over there.
Rumble was very happy, and so was Confusion, but the crocodile spirit obviously didn't have time to decide whether it was happy or not.
The gravitational vector continued to approach the curator, the double-edged sword clashing repeatedly with the control skeleton. The quintessential judge pressed down from above, extending several tentacles that swept in turn. She used magnetic gravity to drag ground debris, blocking, deflecting, and smashing it, then used pulse cannons to finish off the muzzles at the ends of the tentacles.
She was gradually losing ground.
The curator and the five-faced judge together are like a disgusting father opening the door to disgusting things; they're disgusting to the extreme.
The curator's attacks are insidious, his skeleton always piercing out from blind spots; the five-faced judge possesses a massive size and suppressive firepower. Even when out of coordination, the remaining three faces can still take turns attacking.
Anger is responsible for suppressing the enemy with firepower, a smile is responsible for spewing trash talk, and sadness is so disgusting that it's like the tank of gas is churning.
Fortunately, the index vector doesn't need to win here.
The five-faced judge seemed to see through her intentions, and his smiling face froze.
The vector-guided blade severed the front of the curator's skeleton, just in time to catch a glimpse of the smiling face in a moment of quiet solitude.
"Stop arguing?"
"Shut up! You're going to collapse this place!?"
The magnetic force pulled the broken beam back and slammed it into the tentacles below the five-faced judge.
The Quintessons would definitely drag the battlefield underwater; that was her first thought when she saw Aquitron.
Aquitron is an ocean planet. The fact that the Quintessons could establish themselves there, control the suspected native inhabitants, and even set up a court of judgment suggests that they are adapted to the underwater environment.
Not to mention creatures like shark spirits and crocodile spirits, whose very names suggest they are skilled underwater.
Once the Quintessons lose their ground battle against the Cybertronians, they will eventually drag the Cybertronians into the water.
Therefore, when deploying strategy, the vector simply said: We can't follow their rhythm. Since there will inevitably be an underwater battle, the Cybertronians might as well control the rhythm themselves.
They chose to proactively enter the underwater battlefield, catching the Five Monsters off guard, since they couldn't pre-set underwater battle points.
The curator immediately understood from her reaction, and his expression twisted with rage.
Black Widow's voice rang out at the opportune moment: "One minute."
The courtroom began to truly tilt, and the center of gravity of the entire building was shifting.
A crack appeared beneath the witness area, and several shark-themed vehicles, caught off guard, slid down through the fissure. A bailiff, trying to secure himself, was dragged down along with the entire floorboards.
Seawater surged up from a lower level, widening the crack, and the water pressure pushed the debris into the courtroom, wetting the floor and sweeping away the broken mechanical arm and the remains of the shark demon.
The curator shrieked:
"Everyone back to the defense! Hold the bench! Prosecutor, lock down the witness area! Executioner, execute the disruptors!"
The executioner's long arm thrust towards the vector again.
Megatron blasted through a swath of debris with a single shot: "So noisy!"
The curator suddenly turned to him, but Megatron didn't even look at him. He aimed the Fusion Cannon at the Quintesson Judge's mutilated head, and the Quintesson Judge quickly dodged.
Tongtianxiao's voice was steady:
"All non-underwater adapted units should adjust their propulsion systems according to the parameters. Light aircraft should pay attention to the drop angle, and heavy aircraft must not block the entrance."
Jack: "Did you hear me! Heavy machinery, don't block the door! I don't want an underwater accident."
The steel cable roared from the outer ring: "We're not heavy!"
Tongtianxiao paused for a moment: "That's not the point."
The vector briefly glanced at the inner screen amidst the turbulence; Jazz and Optimus Prime's signals were still sinking, almost reaching the predetermined depth.
Thirty seconds.
Black Widow smiled and said, "Chief Justice, I suggest you don't stand in places that look expensive."
With a single slash, the vector blade sliced open the curator's skeleton, and the player switched to the team chat.
"All teams, prepare to dive."
The Knights of Law immediately retracted their shields and moved in the designated direction. The elite guard protected the still not fully recovered Witness. Decepticon heavy firepower covered the rear, while the Autobot rescue team began to gather the slow-moving machines towards the center.
An ambulance, dragging a wounded Transformer along, yelled, "Injured people, don't jump into the sea! I don't want to be retrieving your legs from the ocean floor!"
Knockout: "Wow, you could actually get rich by collecting severed limbs from the sea."
"Knock him down! Don't joke around with Tiger at a time like this!"
"You really lack a sense of humor."
With its still-smoking wings, 97 descended from a great height to cut the optical cable for a pilot who was nearly dragged away by the search line.
Red Spider paused briefly when he saw her face after the mask was torn off.
"You're increasing wind resistance by doing that."
Jiuqi turned her head: "You'll be less annoying if you don't talk."
Red Spider: "You!"
97: "And your inability to shut up is also a structural defect."
Red Spider, cornered, still wanted to retaliate, but Skyfire pushed him from the side: "30 degrees below."
"I know, I know!"
The missile was launched again.
The vector almost burst out laughing at those two sentences, but then she saw the ground beneath Arcee's feet crack open.
Arcee was covering the Autobots' retreat to the dive site. She reacted quickly, and the moment the ground collapsed, she was already preparing to roll over to absorb the impact. However, a broken beam suddenly fell behind her, forcing her to change direction. At this point, she lost her footing.
Seawater surged below the crevice, and Arcee's body plummeted downwards, a broken beam grazing her shoulder as it crashed down.
The magnetic force immediately pulled Arcee's shoulder armor, deflecting her from the path of the broken beam.
The next instant, the entire vectoring machine slid down a little, one hand grabbed the horizontal main beam that was still barely supporting it, and the other hand caught her, supporting her knees.
Arcee was stunned for a moment.
She was lighter than the vector and now a little smaller than her. When she was held up by one hand like this, she was momentarily bewildered.
The vector looked down at her and said, "Hold on tight."
Arcee quickly regained her senses and wrapped her arm around her neck: "It's okay if you fall."
The magnetic force was used to avoid the falling metal frame from above.
"But it will hurt."
Arcee was momentarily speechless.
In the distance, the curator was still screaming and directing the bailiffs and the shark demon. The five-faced judge finally confirmed that the collapse was unstoppable and was also preparing to go into the water.
The crocodile spirit, the shark spirit, the eccentric, the prosecutor, the executioner, and the bailiffs all began to adjust their course, trying to seize the underwater entrance first. The entire courtroom tilted dramatically, and all the debris slid in the same direction.
Black Widow finally spoke: "Time's up."
The last support on the lower level broke.
The judge's bench collapsed completely.
Like a colossal beast stripped of its spine, it collapsed downwards, dragging the mangled five-faced judge above it. One pillar after another fell, the witnessing area shattered into pieces, and the wall turrets were swept by the water and slammed into the ground.
Seawater was flowing up from below.
Vector held Arcee in his arms, looking up amidst the falling debris.
The five-faced judge's mutilated faces were also sinking into the water, the curator disappeared into the surging sea, and the shark spirits moved noticeably faster after entering the water, as if they had returned to a familiar environment.
The gravitational vector hugged Arcee tightly, while the magnetic force pulled several Autobots who hadn't yet adjusted their posture, pushing them to the designated location.
Finally, he said:
"Dive."
