Chapter 188 Underwater Cave Exploration - Part 3
Watching them leave, Navia prayed silently for their safety as she continued her search for clues.
Strangely, the further Navia walked, the narrower the space became, and the dimmer the lights became.
Left with no other choice, she took out a flashlight.
After continuing for several hundred meters, a rusty iron gate suddenly appeared in front of the road.
Looking at the combination lock on the door, worn down to the point where the numbers were slightly blurred, Navia frowned, then took out the guns she carried with her, intending to forcefully blow it up.
"You think a little iron gate can stop me?"
As soon as she finished speaking, she retreated several meters and confidently opened fire.
What's puzzling is that, despite its seemingly fragile appearance, the iron gate remained intact after the smoke from the artillery fire cleared.
"Huh? Nothing's wrong? This door... something's not right..."
On the other side, the passageway on the right.
"Linette, Femini, run!"
While struggling to block the robot's sword swings, Linni shouted to the two people beside him.
Ten minutes ago.
Just as the three were about to move forward, they spotted a strange light source not far away. As if drawn by some kind of magical attraction, the three of them, as if possessed, moved uncontrollably towards the light source at the same time.
He gradually regained consciousness as they approached.
Just then, before they could react, a dizzying suction force pulled the three of them in.
After landing, the group rubbed their dizzy heads and gritted their teeth to stand up again.
With her keen sense of vigilance, Linni had barely steadied herself when she subconsciously began to observe her surroundings.
"Look! There seems to be something over there!"
As Linni spoke, he pointed ahead.
The space here is extremely spacious, and in front of it stands a tower that is dozens of stories high.
Driven by curiosity, they all climbed upwards.
However, after climbing only to the third floor, the three of them were already exhausted.
"There's something wrong with this tower..."
Linette lowered her head helplessly, panting.
"Linnie, should we just give up and not climb any further?"
Fimi, covered in sweat, used the last of his strength to look at Linni.
"Okay... let's go down first."
Strangely enough, the group seemed unusually relaxed on their way down the tower.
Just as they breathed a sigh of relief, Linni accidentally knocked over a small statue placed in the stairwell.
Immediately afterwards, a loud rumble came from the bottom of the tower, and a robot that had been hiding there for who knows how long jumped out.
The robot, with its eyes glowing red and wielding a sharp sword, stood two meters tall. In the blink of an eye, it blocked the exit where the three were going downstairs.
Feeling a strong sense of threat, the three siblings tacitly drew their weapons and looked at it warily.
"Beep beep! Intruder detected. Activating guard mode!"
As a distinctive mechanical voice rang out, the robot instantly entered combat mode.
Just as Linni was about to launch a preemptive attack with an arrow, the robot caught the arrow and broke it in two.
Seeing that things were going badly, Lynette threw out a wind field box and then pulled Linnie and Fimini out of the chaos.
After cleaving the wind field box in two with a single sword strike, the robot stabbed at the nearest person, Fimini, at incredible speed.
Fimini raised his greatsword to block the attack, but he only held on for two seconds before the immense force sent him staggering backward.
