Chapter 40: Just Deserve a Beating
Chapter 40: Just Deserve a Beating
After a whole morning of fighting wits and courage with Bai Yuan, Qin Lingzheng finally got the hang of it.
He stretched out his long arm and hit the target in one go, snatching the spray directly from her hand.
Now, Qin Lingzheng held a notebook in one hand and a spray in the other, both raised above his head, and used them to tease the little girl: "You can't spray it now, right? Haha! When you get it -" I'll give it back to you!
"Stab" sound.
Bai Yuan pushed the chair away and stood up. Before he could react, he grabbed his collar and forcibly pulled him down on the table.
Bai Yuan used his other hand to slowly take the notebook and spray bottle from him one by one and placed them on the table.
He had a blank expression on his face throughout the whole process, and acted calmly and emotionally stable. It was hard to tell whether he was angry or not.
Qin Lingzheng turned his head with difficulty and took a closer look at the little girl's eyelashes. They were so long and thick that the shadows blocked most of his vision. He felt itchy inside and always wanted to touch them.
He was watching in fascination, and his heart was set on reaching out to Bai Yuan's face with his hand.
Bai Yuan grabbed the joint of his index finger and twisted it backwards.
Qin Lingzheng felt pain suddenly, and before he could beg for mercy, he suddenly felt dizzy. After a loud bang of tables and chairs, he was pinned to the ground. He suddenly felt a heavy force on his lower back. It turned out to be Bai Yuan riding on him. She reached into his hair with her free hand, grabbed a handful of hair, and forced him to raise his head.
"Don't mess with other people's things, understand?"
“Know, hiss—know…”
"You need to get the master's permission before you move. Do you understand? Hmm?"
"……understood."
"When the master says 'no', keep your hands to yourself, understand?"
"I understand, I understand!"
Bai Yuan didn't say a word, but grabbed his hair with more force. Qin Lingzheng almost thought he was going to be pulled bald by her, so he quickly begged for mercy.
"Sister Bai Yuan, I was wrong! Please forgive me this time!"
Seeing this, Bai Yuan loosened his hand. Qin Lingzheng was unable to react in time and his head hit the ground with a thud. The wooden floor was covered with a cushion, so it didn't hurt, but the sound was muffled and loud.
Bai Yuan got off him, and just when Qin Lingzheng thought everything was fine, she suddenly kicked him hard on the thigh.
"You know it, but you still commit it?"
"on purpose?"
"Are you still pretending to understand?"
"say."
She kicked once for each question she asked, and each time she kicked in the same spot.
Excruciating pain.
Qin Lingzheng was in so much pain that he broke out in a cold sweat. He took a deep breath and clenched his teeth, "I really understand. I understand now."
Bai Yuan glanced at him calmly and added: "You understand now, but you didn't understand before?"
Qin Lingzheng was completely speechless. He gasped, turned over with difficulty, and lay on his back on the ground, wanting her to change the kicking position and not always use the same leg.
He put the back of his hand on his forehead and looked at Bai Yuan through the shadows.
The little girl looked down at him, her expression still indifferent, no one could tell whether she was happy or angry, her clothes were neatly dressed, without a trace of mess from the fight.
Qin Lingzheng looked at her dark pupils. The child's eyes were bright, and if he looked closely he could see his own slightly disheveled figure.
As he watched, his face suddenly became hot, and he looked away and turned his head, "I didn't understand before, but now I understand."
To put it bluntly, it's asking for a good thing.
"Very good." Bai Yuan nodded, "This is the most basic respect."
Then she paused and asked again:
"Do you know how to write 'respect'?"
Qin Lingzheng dodged subconsciously and felt a dull pain in his thigh.
"...I don't know." He didn't dare to lie.
Bai Yuan knocked on the table and said, "Get up, I'll teach you."
Qin Lingzheng was stunned, and it took him a long time to come back to his senses. He immediately smiled and stood up from the ground with a somersault.
"Really?"
He suspected that he had heard it wrong and asked again.
Bai Yuan hummed, opened the notebook, wrote two neat words on the paper, and pushed the notebook towards him:
"Learn to write, but if you can't do it, I'll beat you up."
Qin Lingzheng: ...
Qin Lingzheng supported his chin and watched the little girl writing seriously, stroke by stroke with a focused expression, which was different from before.
When it was Qin Lingzheng's turn to write, he subconsciously reached out for the pen, but suddenly remembered something. He stopped his hand in the air and turned to look at Bai Yuan.
"Sister Bai Yuan, can I borrow your pencil for a moment?"
Bai Yuan slowly uttered two words: "Okay."
After getting her permission, Qin Lingzheng picked up the pen and imitated her posture and font structure, learning to write like her.
I accidentally made a mistake and reached for the eraser. Halfway through, my memory came back and I asked Bai Yuan:
"Sister Bai Yuan, can I borrow your eraser?"
Bai Yuan uttered two words as usual: "Okay."
After taking the eraser, Qin Lingzheng suddenly found it interesting and thought this question and answer was quite fun. His heart, which had been quiet for less than three minutes, began to become restless again.
"Sister Bai Yuan, how do you write this? Can you tell me?"
"Ah."
"Sister Bai Yuan, the tip of my pen is broken, can you help me get a new one?"
"Sister Bai Yuan..."
Bai Yuan: "If you don't write, get out."
"Eh--"
When Qin Lingzheng finally finished writing these two words, Bai Yuan picked it up and took a look. Oh, wow—
Both words are ugly in their own way.
Actually, Qin Lingzheng's handwriting was not bad, but the word "respect" had many and complicated strokes, which was really beyond the standard. No matter how he wrote it, he felt that there was not enough space, and it was either wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, or long at the bottom and short at the top.
Bai Yuan pointed out several mistakes in the order of strokes and watched him write it several more times, during which Qin Lingzheng asked childish questions and answers.
When he had finally learned almost everything, he held the notebook and sighed for a long time, marveling at his godly writing. Bai Yuan did not ask for it back, but directly gave it to him and told him to go back and practice well.
Qin Lingzheng was deeply moved by this, and instantly felt that the relationship between his family members had become closer.
Little did he know that the real reason was that Bai Yuan had obsessive-compulsive disorder. The words of all sizes on the book were crooked and ugly. Bai Yuan felt uncomfortable looking at it, so he simply made use of the person and sent him away.
Qin Lingzheng got the benefit and felt that he couldn't be happy alone, he had to share this happy thing with everyone, so he went back to his class.
Before leaving, seeing that the little girl did not try to keep him, he took out a book and started reading. His restless heart began to get eager to try again.
"Sister Bai Yuan—" Qin Lingzheng came closer and said in a mean voice, "Can I touch your hand?"
Bai Yuan looked at him coldly: "No, get out!"
"Okay~"
Qin Lingzheng hummed a song and returned to the classroom with a notebook. He pulled the chair out, sat down and continued practicing.
Song Yicheng, who was sitting in the front seat, saw that he was in a good mood and turned to look at him: "What's the good news? You look so happy."
Qin Lingzheng patted the notebook: "Get it!"
"Who are you going to capture? Bai Yuan?"
Qin Lingzheng grinned: "See, the little girl not only taught me how to write, but also talked and laughed with me for quite a long time."
"Why don't I believe it?" Song Yicheng expressed his doubt. "What are the words on it? There are so many strokes."
"You are ignorant, this is called 'respect'."
Song Yicheng hit the nail on the head: "Hahaha, they're asking you to be more respectful, right? You did something immoral again and got a beating?"
Qin Lingzheng rolled his eyes at him and said, "What do you know? We have a very good relationship now! When I was leaving, Bai Yuan even held my hand and refused to let me go no matter what."
Song Yicheng narrowed his eyes and touched his chin, "Is this true? Why do I feel like you made it up?"
"Who lied to you? Look!" Qin Lingzheng stretched out his hand and showed him his red fingers. "The little girl has quite a strong grip. She pulled my fingers red. Wow, you're really passionate!"
