Seeing that Newt cared so much about Peter, Dumbledore smiled knowingly. Through his determined eyes, he seemed to see his past self. What would have happened if he had stood firmly by that man's side?

He would miss Lily Evans if he couldn't see her, but would he die if he couldn't see Peter?
