Chapter 552 He Survived
Chapter 552 He Survived
The waves beat against the shore, one louder than the other. Ah Da was so immersed in his own thoughts that he didn't hear the sound of someone approaching. He only noticed the person when he approached him.
Ada looked at the ragged man and thought he was a homeless person at first, but when he saw the man's face clearly, he ran over excitedly. He unconsciously wanted to stretch out his hands to hug him, and tears welled up in his eyes.
"Master, is that you? I, I am not dreaming!" A Da said in a trembling voice.
That’s right, this ragged homeless man was He Tingting. He really returned safely just as Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan said.
"Well, A'da, you've worked hard." He Lingting said coldly.
"It's not hard. I'm glad you're back. I'm glad you're back." A Da said excitedly.
"How's things at home?" He Lingting asked worriedly.
"Well, well, I don't know. I haven't been back for more than a month, and I didn't ask." A Da said with his head down.
"Didn't I ask you to do a good job of protecting the madam and the young master?" He Lingting said with a cold face.
"I'm sorry, Master. When you disappeared, I asked Ah San to stay at home, and I came here with Master Lu, Master Bai and the others." Ah San said in a small voice.
"Oh!"
"We have been looking for you here for a month without any clues. Later on we really didn't know what to do. Besides, the government has announced that all the passengers were killed, so we also thought that you..." Ah Da talked about the past month and everyone's feelings from hope to disappointment.
He Lingting listened to Ah Da's words, but he was thinking about Xiaomai in his heart. Everyone was so worried about him, and he didn't know how the little girl and the children were doing.
"Ada, answer my phone." He Lingting suddenly said in a cold voice.
Ah Da was stunned for a moment, then said, "Master, there is no signal here. This area within a hundred miles is in a wilderness state and no one lives there."
"Oh, where do you live?" He Lingting asked again.
"There is a tent over there, I'll take you there!" A Da said as he took He Lingting to the woods not far from the shore.
There were several tents in the woods, which were set up when everyone came to search for He Lingting. There were also some food, fresh water and daily necessities, which were left to A Da after everyone evacuated. They also left him a broken car to facilitate his travel.
The two of them came into the tent. He Ting looked around the tent and asked, "Is there a place to take a shower?"
Ah Da said in embarrassment: "Master, I really don't have that, but I have a large basin and some fresh water. I'll boil some hot water for you, and you can just use the basin!"
"Well, that's the only way. By the way, do you have any more clothes?" He Lingting asked again.
"Here, I'll get it to you right away." Ah Da said as he took out a set of clean clothes from his suitcase and handed it to He Lingting.
"Grandpa, I bought this when I was in China. I've tried it in water but haven't worn it yet. You can use it for now. I'll buy you another one later." Ah Da said.
"No need, this one will do." He Lingting said in a deep voice.
"Okay, then you take a rest first, I'll go boil some water for you. Here are some dry food, you can eat first, I'll make you something to eat later." Ah Da looked at the miserable state of his grandfather, he must have suffered a lot these days, so he took out the food and said.
"Well, go ahead!" He Lingting said. He was indeed very hungry now, but being sticky all over was even more uncomfortable.
Soon Ah Da boiled the water, poured it into a large basin, and carried it into the next tent. Then he came back and said to He Lingting, "Master, everything is ready. You can go and wash."
He Lingting took his clothes and went to take a shower next door. A Da simply cooked some noodles and waited for his grandfather to come out to eat.
He Lingting appeared in front of Ada again, and regained his previous cold, tall and handsome appearance, but his face was pale. Ada was about to ask if he was feeling unwell, but He Lingting frowned and fainted on the ground.
Ah Da was so scared that he rushed forward to help He Lingting lie down on the bed. He reached out and touched his grandfather's forehead in panic.
"Oh no, I have a fever, what should I do?" A Da muttered.
He quickly found a towel, washed it with the warm water that He Lingting had just used to take a bath, and applied it to He Lingting's forehead. Then he went to rummage in his suitcase.
Ada seldom leaves Su City. Even when he goes on business trips, he rarely brings medicine with him. It's just that his sister sometimes puts some spare medicine in his suitcase when she packs it. So he really doesn't know if there are any antipyretic drugs in his suitcase. He'll check it out from inside out first!
As expected, he was not disappointed. He really found a few antipyretic pills from the inner compartment. Ada took it and looked at the date out of habit. Oh! It has been over a year since the expiration date. Should I give it to him?
Then he looked at He Lingting again. His face had turned redder from pale just now. It should be because of the fever! Ah Da didn't hesitate any more and took the medicine and fed it to He Lingting directly. He couldn't care less now. It was better to have medicine than not.
A Da did not dare to neglect giving He Lingting the antipyretic medicine. He stayed by He Lingting's side, changing his towel every now and then. It was not until nightfall that He Lingting's face was finally not so red, and a lot of sweat appeared on his forehead. A Da breathed a sigh of relief.
After his fever subsided, He Lingting was awakened by hunger again. He opened his eyes and saw the person sitting in the room in the faint moonlight.
"Master, you finally woke up. You must be hungry! I'll heat up the noodles now." Ah Da said happily when he saw He Lingting wake up. Then he went out to light a fire and heat up the noodles he made during the day, and brought them back soon.
He Lingting picked up the bowl and started eating. Ada originally thought that his grandfather might not be able to eat it because there were so many lumps of food that he had no appetite. However, he didn't expect that He Lingting ate it happily.
As the saying goes, everything tastes delicious when people are extremely hungry. He Lingting hasn't had any noodles or even a grain of rice in more than a month. He survived entirely by eating wild vegetables and game. Fortunately, there is green grass and shady trees here, otherwise he really wouldn't have survived until today. Even if he didn't die in the plane crash, he would have starved to death in the wilderness.
Or perhaps it was the birds of prey that appeared every night, which posed a considerable threat to him. He mostly stayed awake at night to hurry on his way, and hid under trees during the day to take a short rest, but he did not dare to sleep soundly.
Now he finally made it through, he survived...
