It's Perfectly Normal for my Slime to beat up a Dragon, Right?

Ch. 107 - Whoa, Young Master Tang, You're Really Fired Up![1]

Ch. 107 - Whoa, Young Master Tang, You're Really Fired Up![1]

Du Long's voice cut off abruptly. Confused, he turned to look behind him.The next moment, he was equally dumbstruck, staring blankly at the scene on the arena.

A massive yellow sphere, easily over ten meters tall, had appeared—and beneath it lay the once-mighty Earth Sub-dragon.

Unfortunately, the Sub-dragon's majesty was long gone. Its tongue had been squeezed out of its mouth, looking utterly pathetic.

This dragon looked like a squashed dog!

"What... the hell is that..."

Du Long's mouth twitched. He'd seen massive creatures before, but nothing this terrifying.

Someone swallowed hard and said, "I remember during the final exams, Chen Shu's slime was only four meters..."

What the hell had this thing been eating?

Chen Shu smiled slightly and said, "Your Sub-dragon really is unrivaled among its peers. Good thing my slime is only F-rank. If it were A-rank, I'd definitely have lost."

At those words, Du Long felt a surge of blood rush to his chest.

You really know how to humiliate people, don't you?!

Chen Shu continued, "Oh right, Brother Du, you were just saying you weren't targeting anyone in particular. And then?"

Du Long's face cycled between pale and flushed. Finally, he took a deep breath and said, "You really think you've won?"

The Earth Sub-dragon thrashed around violently, yellow light repeatedly flashing in its eyes—only to dissipate the very next instant.

"The contract spirit's skills?!"

Du Long's expression turned ugly. His normally unstoppable technique couldn't be activated at all.

If you wanted to talk about true same-rank invincibility, that title belonged solely to the slime's exclusive skill: "Invincible Press Press Press."

Once something was pinned beneath it, all their skills were sealed.

Unless you could physically push it off through brute force, you could only lie there and wait for death.

"Get moving!"

Chen Shu's lips curled into a smirk. The yellow slime's giant eyes opened wide, and its chubby butt began to wiggle continuously.

Friction, friction—grinding against that rough dragon back![2]

Every movement drove the Earth Sub-dragon deeper into despair.

The Sub-dragon probably only had one song echoing in its heart right now: "In my heart, you weigh the most!"[3]

"I surrender! Stop pressing! I can't take it anymore..."

Du Long let out a deep sigh, his voice drained of all strength.

He'd always been called a beast-taming genius, yet here he was, crushed by an F-rank slime. This moment would be carved into the pillar of his life's greatest humiliations!

"Chen Shu wins!"

Shen Wushuang was also studying Chen Shu intently. An F-rank slime reaching this level of power was truly a rare sight.

He even suspected Chen Shu might be the sole heir of some great family, with so much wealth and resources that they had nowhere to spend it except on cultivating his slime.

Chen Shu recalled his slime, completely unsurprised.

His slime had already consumed multiple potions and had at least reached a state of minor perfection. Combined with the system's option rewards and dual attribute amplification, the gap in potential ratings had been significantly closed. Multiple combat skills had allowed the slime to stand out as a true anomaly.

Just as Shen Wushuang announced the result, options appeared before Chen Shu's eyes once again.

[Option 1: Achieve 4th to 6th place. Keep a low profile! Completion reward: Large amount of Beast Taming Power]

[Option 2: Achieve top 3. Make a stunning debut! Completion reward: Charge skill +1]

[Option 3: Achieve 1st place. Display your might! Completion reward: Obtain exclusive skill]

[Option 4: Beat up Shen Wushuang's contract spirit and take his place as the special training class instructor! Completion reward: Slime gains one bloodline evolution opportunity!]

Chen Shu's eyes went wide, and his spine straightened immediately.

This was the first time he'd encountered such a rare reward. Especially Option 4—a bloodline evolution opportunity!

After all, contract spirits only underwent bloodline evolution when their Beast Tamer broke through a major realm.

Beyond that, there was no other way. That's how precious it was.

He stroked his chin, his gaze turning strange as he studied Shen Wushuang.

Up ahead, Shen Wushuang couldn't help but shudder. He turned to look at Chen Shu.

What the hell, why do I feel like you're up to no good?

"Next match: Wang Qinghan versus Xu Xiaoyu!"

Shen Wushuang announced the second match while walking over to Chen Shu's side.

"What's with that look in your eyes, kid?!"

Shen Wushuang finally couldn't hold back. He kept feeling like he was about to get blindsided.

Chen Shu asked, "Teacher Shen, I wanted to ask—what's your Beast Tamer rank?"

"Black Iron Two-Star!"

"Never mind then. Goodbye!"

Chen Shu cupped his fists in farewell and immediately backed away. So Option 4 was just the system messing with him.

On the arena, two A-rank fire-attribute contract spirits had already begun their battle.

Sparks flew everywhere, and the temperature in the Beast Taming Arena rose noticeably.

But Chen Shu wandered over to Tang Lie's side, studying his unusual appearance.

"Young Master Tang, why do I feel like you just got dug up? You look like a pyramid mummy."

"Screw off!"

Tang Lie closed his eyes. Out of sight, out of mind.

"Fire... it's on fire..."

Chen Shu suddenly shouted loudly, warning Tang Lie.

Tang Lie's expression remained cold, his eyes still shut. "Screw off!"

Wang Yun said from the side, "Young Master Tang, it really is burning."

Tang Lie shook his head. "It's just two A-rank contract spirits fighting. How exciting can it be?"

Hong Ming added, "Young Master Tang, it's not the battle that's hot-blooded. It's your... crotch that's on fire..."

"Crotch? What crotch?"

Tang Lie opened his eyes. His entire body jolted in terror, and elegant Mandarin burst from his lips: "Holy shit!"

Because of the two contract spirits' battle, the temperature in the Beast Taming Arena had skyrocketed.

The bandages on Tang Lie's legs had actually caught fire—and the flames had spread to his crotch.

"Young Master Tang! Don't be afraid! Uncle's here!"

Chen Shu appeared behind the wheelchair, grabbed it, and tipped it forward like he was dumping garbage—sending Tang Lie tumbling out.

"Young Master Tang, hang in there! The process might be rough, but the outcome will be beautiful!"

Chen Shu came to Tang Lie's side and began stomping on his crotch, trying to put out the fire.

Tang Lie's eyes bulged. The searing pain hit him instantly, and he couldn't help but roar, "What the—! You motherf—!"

"Young Master Tang, curse all you want! As long as you're okay, that's all that matters!"

Chen Shu's lips curled into a wicked smile as he stomped on Tang Lie's crotch again and again with manic enthusiasm.

Tang Lie's eyes flew open. Veins bulged at his temples, his body convulsing from the pain, his eyes filled with despair and struggle.

Finally, Chen Shu put out the fire...

But then the two contract spirits on stage simultaneously unleashed their skills, and the temperature spiked once again.

The bandages that had just been extinguished burst into flames once more!

Chen Shu exclaimed, "What the—! Young Master Tang, you're really fired up..."

"Everyone come help!"

But no one paid attention. The whole class had long since learned to ignore Chen Shu's dramatics.

Besides, the match up front was genuinely spectacular.

Only Xu Xingxing and Xie Sunan walked over. The three of them frantically stomped on Tang Lie's crotch in unison.

"You two just gonna stand there?! Isn't he supposed to be your boss?!"

Chen Shu looked at Hong Ming and Wang Yun, gesturing for them to help.

"Come on! Follow my rhythm! One-two-one! Stomp! One-two-one! Stomp!"

Chen Shu took the lead, calling out the beat. The five of them instantly synchronized, like performers in a perfect symphony!

"What the f—! You guys..."

Tang Lie's eyes went wide, his face deathly pale. He was on the verge of passing out.

His agonized screams didn't disturb the people up front—but Chen Shu's rhythmic chanting caught Shen Wushuang's attention.

"What's going on with you guys?"

Shen Wushuang walked over to the five of them. When he saw Tang Lie's blackened crotch, his mouth twitched, and his body shuddered instinctively.

"Use water!"

In an instant, Hong Ming and Wang Yun finally realized what they should have done and rushed off to get water.

Tang Lie slowly extended his right hand and gripped Chen Shu's hand tightly, his eyes blazing with boundless hatred.

"Young Master Tang, don't thank me! We're all in the same class. This is what I, Chen Shu, should do!"

Chen Shu sighed and patted the back of Tang Lie's hand.

Then he covered Tang Lie's face with a white bandage...

[1] "You're Really Fired Up!" (火气好大): A pun on "火气" (huoqi), which means both "temper/anger" and literal "fire energy." Tang Lie's bandages catch fire from the arena's heat, making him literally "fired up" while Chen Shu pretends to comment on his bad temper.

[2] "Friction, friction" (摩擦摩擦): Reference to Pang Mailang's 2014 viral hit "My Skateboard Shoes" (我的滑板鞋), featuring the famous line "摩擦摩擦,似魔鬼的步伐" (Friction, friction, like the devil's footsteps). The song became one of China's most memed songs, known for its awkward delivery and absurd lyrics.

[3] "In my heart, you weigh the most" (我心中,你最重): From Tu Honggang's 1996 ballad "Erta Tower" (usually translated as "Farewell My Concubine" or associated with 霸王别姬). The pun lies in "重" (zhong), which means both "important/cherished" and "heavy." The Sub-dragon, being crushed under the slime's weight, is quite literally experiencing "you weigh the most."
